WALA: What is real and what is fake?

This week we were learning about the difference between fake and real in cybersmarts, for this tasks we had to create a real and fake looking image.

we had to try and figure out what the word "alter" means and too explain what it meant because it was used in our task. it basically meant change something up image wise meaning you had to make it look real when it was actually fake.

It shows in some of these slides what the fake and real pictures look liked.

Graphics! This is all about me, Today we made a Google drawing about ourselfs just using pictures it was alot of fun. I can't wait to have more fun in graphics this term!

Technology With Mrs Tuipulotu

Today we made silver corn beef with vegetable soup!

Step1- Slice your meat and boil with cabbage and potato
1st- carrot,onion
2nd- cauliflower , Broccoli, Tomato

Step2- add spices, salt pepper etc!

Today we made chocolate Muffins
First we added
1. 1 cup of flour
then we added another cup of flour
3.1 quarter of couca
4.1 half of a cup of sugar
5.i haft of a cup of milk
6i half of a cup of oil
7. 2tpsp of yoghurt
8 mix all together
then bake at 180!
It was so tasty here was our result!

Yesterday we had a lock down practice... At 10am 1 hour after we started school  due to the shooting in christchurch. The bell rung 2 minutes earlier than it was supposed to  go off as soon as it went i slid my chair and went under the table the alarm went off about 5 times at least everyone was under the tables silenter than anything. We sat under the tables for 15 minutes then Mr Reddy came and said that we done good.

4 Words and the Meaning!

Today we have 4 words....Geography, region, Location, City

The meaning of Location is a particular place or position of something, for example if you wanted to know where my house is you have to know the location.

City can mean 2 things but are like the same a city is something you can live at its a large place with alot of buildings unlike the country.

The meaning of Geography Is a study of earth and Its atmosphere basically nature itself.

And lastly the meaning of region, Its an area like the country and completely opposite from the city.

Whats your favorite foods n drinks?

Last night for dinner i had Burger king what did you have?

Usually we plan our dinner the night before so we know what we are having
But we always have Tuesday Friday And Saturday planned out On Tuesday we have Taco Tuesday
With basic cheese doritos veggie mince, veggies, and cheese. On Friday we have Veggie BBQ with all
different sorts of meats. And on Saturdays we have dinner at the night markets in Pakuranga.

Does your family plan out your dinner for the week? My 2 Brothers are not vegetarian like me and my
mum and 1 of my sisters my other sister eats meat. I used to eat chicken but it slowly started getting
gross.

What are your favorite foods my favorite foods are rockmelon passionfruit, strawberrys, chocolate,
lollies, fro-yo, popcorn, Burger king, Mcdonalds, KFC, Wendy's and much more other things.

I really love food but you can never forget about drinks my favorite drinks are mountain dew, water,
Aloe vera drinks, fizzy's and a heap more,

I really think you should share your favorite foods n drinks  to everyone as well just like i did.

My Bio Poem

School camp out on the field.

A couple of weeks back we decided to have a sleepover on a Thursday night after school.

So that afternoon everyone came at 5pm with there tents and clothes and started putting up there tents.
For the first hour everyone was setting up then we got sorted and went inside for dinner to eat we had
pizza, ham steak + heaps of more stuff.

After we all finished eating we went outside for a little play at the start we played rugby, then touch, then
rugby and then we went inside again for dessert and to watch a movie we watched megamind Once it
was 10 o'clock everyone setup for bed.

The people who slept outside went out to there tents, and the people who stayed inside stayed in.
After a little while we all got told it was bedtime so we all went to bed… well as far as the teachers new
HAHA.

A couple of weeks ago on Thursday before our sleepover we went to Panmure Lagoon Pools. First we got changed then got given instructions then hopped in the pool we got taught heaps of stunts. But my favorite bit  was our free time but overall it was really good.

Growth mindset post

At school we where learning about having a growth mindset and always thinking the good side of things so Mrs Aireen and Mr Jance decided  to tell us to make a growth mindset quote so mine was, Nothing is impossible the word itself is "im possible"

About... my role model

This is about my role model and who brightens me up and makes me confident.

My role model is Billie Eilish she's a 17 year old girl born in Los Angeles California. She released her first

song “Ocean Eyes” In October a couple of years ago. And her music has taught me to never listen to
the haters and be me because there are mean people in the world.

She is my inspiration because she teaches people all around the world positive things with the strong

meanful words in her song she’s made.

I don't wanna be you anymore is my favorite song from her because it tells you about keeping promises
and not lying to the ones that you love.

I strongly believe Billie is a good role model because she's positive kind and she never treats her peers

and family badly.

         

Today Group 1 got put into room 9 with Toni, Kellys son to teach us he told us that everyone
doesn't have to all be the same and that different is good everyone is unique in there own ways.

Then we done some work about lions, otters, beavers, and golden retrievers

Basically you had to be one of those animals judged on your personality.

If you where a lion you where a leader and brave, if you where a otter you hung out with a big
group of people and your always full of energy, if you where a golden retriever you are a very
helpful and caring person and thats the only ones there where.

Then we wrote about our choices, we wrote a future choice and todays choice for my future goal
for my one i done i hope i get a very a good job.

We also played a game where Toni said to stand up for a certain thing youve done or something
you have owned for example he said stand up if you where born in tonga.

Overall i had a really good time i cant wait till next time.

This Morning i came to school and we where doing our Class treaty where everyone contributes in a groups work,

Later on that afternoon we had morning tea and i played on the courts, about 10 minutes after lunch we done P.E we done music and softball,

At lunch i got to explain about my bunny like the age, name so on, at lunch play the afternoon got more fun...

I hung out with Josephine and played with my bunny, A heap of people where surrounding me and Josephine + the bunny,

This afternoon we came into class and Mrs Aireen decided we will wright about our dad so this is it have a good day,
